I'll begin by saying hi, in keeping with the tradition here. I thought I'd follow up with my primary reason for signing up, since I notice this forum gets more activity than most others...

I'm hoping to make some connections, as I'm in serious lack of those.

I've always felt different from other people, and it seems the older I get, the more different I come to feel. I regard myself as being deeply spiritual, and I don't mean to sound judgmental, but I find this trait to be generally lacking in the high-majority of the population. For this reason I find myself incapable of connecting to other people who I may able to spend time with in the physical sense. In fact, being around most people makes me feel more alone.

I've started some correspondences with other people that never seemed to go anywhere, I think because my perspective is so unusual. I tend to identify most with the Gnostics, who saw this world as a kind of prison. I can also relate to many ideas expressed by Carl Jung, and even have the weird sense that he and I are something like kin.

I experience a lot of synchronicity in my life, and have strange experiences regarding numbers. Carl Jung had many experiences with synchronicity (and in fact invented the word "synchronicity"), which is another reason I relate to his writing so well.

I play guitar and sing, and have written many songs. I've written songs that I would describe as having spiritual significance, but I find these unappreciated by the vast majority of humans. I've had experiences where it seems like the lyrics to songs I was working on were almost channeled to me. I've also unwittingly used terminology and phrases in songs I've written that had uncanny similarities to those in spiritual texts, like the Upanishads and some of the Gnostic texts, long before I was familiar with such texts.

I'm an Aquarius in the truest sense. My birthday also makes me a cusper (right down to the hour), and I find myself conflicted at the deepest levels of being, as I understand cuspers often are.

I suppose that's enough. Again, I'm hoping to connect with like-minded people, so if you can relate to the things I've said, feel free to drop me a line.
