Did Earth just reply to me during grounding meditation?

I've been meditating since May 2022. I currently aim to meditate at least every other day on average, for about 30-45 minutes each time. The first few weeks were beyond amazing. I couldn't believe what was happening to me, and I went through an immediate healing, followed by a deep and profound spiritual awakening, where knowledge and intuition about reality suddenly clicked into place. My ears began ringing straight after this, and have never stopped ringing. This isn't annoying, I'm not tuned into it most of the time. But it's always there. In fact I quite enjoy it.

Anyway, fast forward to recent months, and I've become so much more tolerant and loving towards both myself, and others. My sense of humour is improved, and I just feel all round more confident, fearless, and to some extent more powerful than I used to. I feel so together and solid in myself.

Here's the thing, when drifting either into or out of sleep, and I'm in the in-between state, my aura has begun filling with static-energy, and at the same time I'll hear the most real voice in one ear or the other. Sometimes I hear static, last night I heard some light buzzing, most times there's a pressure change in my ear at the same time. One time I clearly heard the word spoken (it was a powerful male voice, and simply said Hello!!), most times I don't hear the words, and one didn't even sound human - it was deeper than deep, and sounded like one of those voice changers. After about 5 seconds I feel the static-energy dissolve, and everything feels normal again. I then lie awake thinking about what just happened.

It's becoming more frequent - about once per week it's waking me up - and though not scary, I find it just a little concerning as this is a new thing for me. I assume I'm awakening psychically, and developing clairaudience and clairsentience. Because it concerns me a little, I've decided to do something that I've always neglected: grounding meditations.

So I just meditated a while ago. It was quite a deep meditation. I visualised my root chakra as a ball of red energy. I formed a chord and lowered it slowly into the ground, eventually reaching the absolute centre of Earth. Because I believe Earth is a highly conscious entity to which we're connected, I said "Hello Earth" a few times. Towards the end of the meditation I was aware of a noise that had slowly built up, like a consistent hum or vibration. Not a deep hum, but a mid range hum, all around me, and not overly loud. Though I've never heard it before, I assumed it was the heating, or something around the house. Then, as I ended the meditation I gradually withdrew the chord from the Earth's centre, slowly back to my chakra. As I raised the chord, the hum faded out, completely stopping by the time the chord was back in my root chakra. I was quite stunned by this.

My question is, did Earth just say hello back to me? Has anybody any similar experiences to share? Can anybody shed insight into this?

I think It's quite possible you made a connection to our earth mother.

In connecting to seemingly "other" entities than ourselves The way communion manifests is different for everybody.
Seeing colors, hearing words and then interpreting them is always(in my humble opinion) Always highly personal. When someone says the color red for instance to us both, my interpretation of that word will most probably be a different shade of red than yours.

Same with connecting to our earth mother. Some will sense her abundance, Other her eternal pregnancy and again some will hear her rumble from deep within. It is entirely up to you how you interpret it.

That said, When some entity comes in clear. Always test and discern it's advise or message to the best of your ability. If the message is helpful, not going against your better judgement. See if you can use it. If it's inappropriate, making you feel uneasy. just (temporarily)disregard it as unhelpful (for now).

Just like one would do with advise and messages from friends.

It sounds to me that you are meant to be a channeler :) This is a huge progression over such little time. You don't know how rare this is, so, I'm really happy for you!
For your question, I imagine it like you were present around lava, and experienced the heaviness of the earth's core with all your senses.
It doesn't really matter what happened, if you keep investigating it, I'm sure you'll find the answer over time. But most importantly, you have opened up to a world of unknown magical things, and that is the best blessing one could ask for :)

Hi - off topic probably, but this is not any meditation I know of.
It is more a Visualization technique. Sounds fine. Visualisation for the Brits. :)
I think you meant cord, not chord, right?

that is what you are Hearing.
Keep a journal write everything down, and see if there is a message for you
