I don't know much about buckethead, I stumbled on him a few months ago. I thought the same as you. "Gimmick" but then was wowed by his work. Have fun investigating.

Because we are having fun? That is what I suspect.
ImthatIm & sentient, I went back to listen to Dire Straits/Private Investigation LIVE 1986 in Sydney and it goes through so many different sound and beats, it is like a whole story unfolding.
