So true , the simple ones are sometimes the best , and sometimes it's not even the full song !!!
The Elvis song for example has a VERY special meaning to me , but not the full song ...... Just the first 3 words of the song....
"" Wise men say ..""
That's all it takes , those first 3 words .
As for Bob...
My hubby and eldest son his biggest fans and both being honoured to have seen him live many times, the last time in October last year in Hull.
Also, my husband and I are privelleged enough to own some of his artwork ....

Excellent that you and the family love Dylan, I was lucky enough to have my first encounter with Dylan as a young teenager, probably 14, some guy lent me one of his first albums and it was a woww moment hearing Baby Blue and It Ain't me Babe for the first time. I think it took a couple of decades for to realise what I just heard  ......You know that song Bryan Ferry sang, Make you feel my Love well I mean't to post a version of that song that i found moving and other work by the same bloke from Leeds, I know you are from somewhere up that way yourself. I was in two minds but I better let you hear it.

I worked in the city centre and started at stupid o'clock and finished at lunchtime , and I always stopped to listen to him and always chucked a pound or two in his guitar case..
His voice is beautiful .

Have looked up the Leeds busker Mick Iredale singing "can't help falling in love " too.... Among others .

Wowww that's great ! I thought you might know him alright, fantastic ! It has made my day too, I got a really good buzz
when I discovered him, he has a very genuine voice and very nice guitarist too.
