3 Incidents in a Life Worth Living
Number 1: An aquantance of mine was short on his rent by a 100 bucks. The first of the month is Monday. It's Friday. What to do? He asks God about his problem in his head. No answer. That Friday he's walking to his apartment. As he passes a hedge next to the sidewalk something catches his eye. It's silvery, it was litter but he pulled out a 20 dollar bill as well. He reached in again 3 more times for a total of 80 dollars. The exact amount he was short.
Number 2 : Friend of mine Bill. He worked for me. Sometimes a good worker sometimes not so good. Hadn't seen him in awhile. He tells me, he was working for 1 if the best painters in town. The guy would spray interiors with semi gloss paint. Tarps everywhere. The painter was shorting Bill 25 per week. One day Bill finds a roll of 20s laying on the tarp to the amt of 200 dollars, the amt he was shorted. When his boss gets back, he gives the money back to him saying you have to be more careful. I tell Bill that was your money. God gave it to you.
Number 3: A woman is told by her doctors there is not much they could do for her. Her kids and husband just left the hospital. She tells God, I don't want to die. Please give me a sign that you grant my request. That night a big storm came. The clouds were staring to break up the next morning. She opens the blinds wider to see a huge rainbow arise up from the grassy area next to the parking lot. She took as a sign her prayer was answered. 5 days later the doctors don't understand but her cancer is in remission. She walked out if that hospital. Why? Because she asked.
