MOTHER OF HUMANITY

I gave you life creation,
You suckled from my breast.
From my heart I watched you blossom,
You're form my love expressed.

I fed and bathed and clothed you,
With corn and oceans blue.
I watched you fall and picked you up,
And helped you see it through.

You left my wing and went alone,
A wrenching from my heart.
You gained your voice and notions,
A part of me apart.

Your greed and blind ambition,
The birth of original sin.
My forests now lay naked,
Red sky from blood of kin.

Further on you venture,
Exploring more my soul.
My very breath you poison,
And ocean's virtue stole.

I call upon my offspring,
To use the power endowed.
To bring a shift in consciousness,
And make a Mother proud.
