I'm referring to Buddha not 'The Buddha'... I don't for one moment believe that Jesus would send anyone to Hell, we put ourselves there imo.

What about trying to understand our own views on Christianity I personally think that would be more beneficial, we as Humans are very deep

Yes, no doubt the way I see it. A mind undisciplined can be hell. And referring to Buddha nature, and not "the Buddha", sheds more light for me. yes, Christ Consciousness and Buddha-nature are one. TNA a great man brimming with his Buddha hood.

My own views on Christianity are always changing. I was born into it, and have some very fond memories from my early days, my mother and father very good Christians and I loved going to church.

I have always considered myself a contemplative Christian, and I was a novice cloistered monk for a year or so.

These days I have been really getting into the Buddhist notions of the I, the ego, and the way it just wants to keep going on and on. On some days, I see very clearly, or not I, rather the seer of my false I? The monks I lived with shaved their heads too, it was more about shedding our identity with worldly things.. and the ego too.

When I rest "there" as a Christian mystic something smiles inside, everything is OK.. and thanking God, that need is not me, it's in me it seems..
The resurrection of Jesus leaves me a bit perplexed. It's part of the Christian puzzle for sure. This resurrection of the body and the soul, it's a new beginning, but how I don't know. One would think it would get tedious after a few million years, but there would not be time to get wrapped up in? More like a returning to the center alive and well.

At a young age I use to wonder ' How will all these resurrected bodies fit on the Planet ' Oh the joys of innocence

I'd like to see how these shaved headed Monks in their Monasteries would survive without the ego

A new heaven, and a new earth.

Peacefully, living in silence, they chanted as one, many hearts together. It could be a struggle too no doubt about it.
I could not hack it, too big an ego I guess.. some entered at a very young age,..... Thomas Merton was a Trappist monk too, his writings led me there, among other good Christian mystics.

Jesus had an 'Ego' The Monk's are actually using their 'Ego' to try and shred their 'Ego' , I personally believe the 'Ego' is very important and extremely beneficial when its healthy..... An unhealthy ego definitely needs healing but not ' Shredded '.... imo.

Well OK, ego or no ego, that is the question.

I would need to go back and figure out exactly what they were doing, but right now I'm too busy watching Alan Watts on youtube.

Let's see, I am God I just don't realize it yet. "I" is a delusion, just like so many other things that we place "our" attention on. Life is, we are the actors, the stage was set a long time ago..
What else can I say? The wave that I am will always remain as water.

Was Jesus wave and water, was he just like us as he waved goodbye.
