I like the other horse painting a lot of life in that one.
I like your colors used too the background is nice to look at as well

I need to do one more, same size as the first one, square canvas. It's going to be put up next to that first one.
Once that's done, they're off to the States, to my daughter :)

I have been working on a new, commissioned painting for quite some time. It's not done yet.

I do enjoy seeing your paintings. I also enjoy seeing how paintings take shape.
I am, however, very curious as to the face of the woman in the close up.
Is she straight from your imagination or did she develop out of a character study?
Or is she someone you know personally, like a daughter or a sister - or maybe even you! ?

Looking forward to seeing how this one turns out.
I hope you wont mind me saying that your painting reminds me of Walt Disney, in that he would keep his pallet to three colours. I think this technique helps keep the subject of the painting anchored in the fantasy world.
