Communication/contact cards?
As I'm still a tarot novice, I was wondering what cards typically point to communication such as meeting in person, or even online messages or phone calls.
For me, I have found all of these cards mean communication:
All Aces
All Knights & Pages
8 of Wands
Judgment
2 of Cups
10 of Cups/Pentacles
The World
Can you add anymore?

3 of cups is the meeting card for me.
All the Pages are messages or news coming.
I'm sure there are more cards that mean meetings and receiving news but those are the 1st ones that I come to me for that subject.
Even though I see the Chariot as a good news coming... I don't see it as a message, meeting, or hearing from people, i see it more as the beginning of a new adventure or phase.

I feel any card could mean meeting someone. Even the Tower could represent someone (not that I'd like to meet that person).

That's true, I have had The Tower a few times for unexpected contact, and each time its been very exciting and welcomed by me :)
But yeah, as a person, don't think they'd be that great! |

Ooo, well Chariot is movement and travel so adventure or new phases are a strong possibility |

Ace of Swords
Messages/news:
6 of Wands
8 of Wands
All of the Pages
Meeting in person:
2 of Cups
3 of Cups
6 of Cups
It also depends on the surrounding cards and the context of the question.
Chariot for me is more about a person taking action and expressing their individuality rather than involving other people.

I see the Chariot as willpower, so can understand that! Being determined to get or do something all on your own.
What about 4 of Wands? |

My tarot teacher always said the Chariot was independent. I always see him as one person. Personally, I wouldn't interpret him to mean any type of communication.

I've had it before when someone has contacted me, but it's more about them going for something or making themselves heard rather than representing the actual contact itself. So yeah, it's not necessarily about communication between two people, I think it depends. But the figure is alone so it is more about independence rather than a union represented by cards like 2 of Cups. |
