how would you read this

I pulled three cards with the question what does X want to happen in this relationship
the cards were the nine of wands reversed, the tower reversed, and the emperor.

I interpreted this as he is done with the relationship, he would like to slowly change the situation and take his power back. How would you guys read these three cards?

Hi, I would interpret as he refused to compromise (nine of wands reversed), and he's hoping to avoid the conflicts (tower reversed) and he wants to be the dominating one in the relationship (the emperor)

In short he wants things to go in his own way..

Thank you I thought of that interpretation but he is not the dominating for d in that relationship in fact he is almost completely emasculated

Just some additional thoughts.. I am thinking The emperor feelings could be a man is looking for a woman who can work out together - meaning to say she is the one that he wants/needs and can also handle :) if its not on the controlling or dominating side, more like he wants something that both can work out tgt :)
