white light flow through third eye, connecting?

I had a different kind of experience recently. I think it was at night or maybe meditation. I was in the hypnogogic state anyway.

I saw a soft circle of white light where my third eye would be. It wasn't particularly bright. Then the light began flowing in and there was "stuff" in it. I find it hard to describe but maybe information? As it continued I began to get this feeling and it was slowly getting stronger. I have never felt this kind of feeling before so I can't describe it other than to say it was a good feeling, not a bad one. Then my conscious mind started waking up and the experience ended.

I think I might have had a teensy teensy weensy conscious experience connecting w/ source. Maybe someone who has this connection could tell me if I'm barking up the right tree.

I feel I've received my answer so never mind! I was in a sense being reconnected in a new way.

Yogananda teaches to go through the Third Eye to become one with the universe.

Twice when we’re asleep we are in the theta state which is like an enhanced meditative state. Once is when falling asleep. We can connect very easily w/ other Ds in theta.

It's funny you mention the theta state because I was just reading something yesterday about how we'll all begin spending more time in this state while awake as our consciousness evolves.
