Frequent "electric" type tingling

Hi,

Lately I've been experiencing quite frequent tingling in the middle of my back and a bit to the left... I used to get this periodically years ago and its now returned. It feels a bit "electric" I'm not quite sure how to describe it.. or like tons of tiny fingers tapping in that area at once? ha.. difficult to describe.

I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the heart chakra perhaps?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I have experienced garden variety tingling countless times and a different kind of tingling on two occasions. In the first instance of this second kind of tingling there was weird sensation and audible component - tap-tap-tapping. It was all very confusing. But it happened when I was holding a yogic posture (Asana). The second time this kind of tingling occurred, it started off like the first time with sensation and sound, but now there was an added visual component to it. Again I was in yogic Asana. The visual part started off with a piece of chain link in dazzling and vivid colors. It was followed by a view of a blue chakra. Chakra was internal, i.e. in my body (mula bandha area). The chakra was alive with a glow and movement in its petals. I continue with yoga hoping for a more complete kunDAlini experience.
