Hi all,

I was really looking forward to this movie after enjoying the book so much. I know it is usually dissapointing when watching a movie when you have read the book first but they really missed the mark here completely. In my view it was a bad made for TV type movie. They even have the pauses in it that makes you feel like you are going to a commercial.

I truly love the book and believe in its message, they should have left well enough alone.

I'll be interested in your thoughts.

I agree.... The book was wonderful, infact, it's my favorite book. The movie was just poorly made. Infact, I had to laugh towards the end. I couldn't even believe I had sat and watched the entire thing!!! Yes, it was very dissapointing.

IMO, Hollywood is not a particularly light place, so no wonder they couldn't understand!
