I was wondering what people here made of the recent report from the Pentagon on "UAPs"?

I wasn't surprised by the report itself. Personally I never expected them to explicitly say "Yes, these are extra-terrestrials" but my takeaway from it was that they went much further than I imagined they would go!

"We don't know what they are" is quite a policy change from "Don't talk about this".

What did surprise me though was the reaction to the report. I know a lot of watchers were angry and frustrated that it was so brief and contained none of the evidence/statements/sightings etc which have been so well documented over the years. But this was still quite a big thing IMO. And what made it equally fascinating to me was the response from the Japanese and French governments.

It seems like this is the start of a slow process of a cautious disclosure. What do you guys think?

To be honest I have never been bothered about aliens. The only way to find out is if they let themselves be seen. Anything else is just speculation.
