I found a mantis by the firepit the other day. Setting him somewhere safe, my mother-in-law's banana tree, I continued to observe him for a few minutes. And he observed me. Tilting his head to follow me, looking up at me with those great big eyes....then hopping away to go live under the deck. I'm not sure any other insect can turn their head like a mantis.

My new friend. He is pretty chill, doesnt ask for much at all, very confident and diciplined and not very needy for a dog. We have about the same color eyes,which is really weird because he is so white/ albino looking He is a good dog

My condolences for your loss. I don't know what I'll do when my dog has to leave us. They are like children.
