Tarot cards with rune stones

So my tarot deck is the Wizards tarot deck by corrine kenner. it explains in the 'handbook' that you can use Rune stones in conjunction with tarot cards. has anyone done this, is it worth a deeper look into 'considering i dont have any experience with rune stones'.

I've never used the 2 together... but I do use them separately.

I am curious how it suggests the use of both.

You can use runes in conjunction with tarot cards. draw runes to clarify the meaning of individualcardsor to add new layers of information to a spread.

Suppose they would be useful if you was doing a single card spread on yourself maybe, i will research some more into it as it did really intrigued me =]

I also have the Wizards Tarot and must admit i have not read that bit on the runes in the handbook so thanks for the heads up on it
