so he found out
once upon a time
or a long long time ago
depending on how you look at it

he found out
that if you give something
singleminded attention
you get it bent out of shape

and if that thing isn't an ordinary thing
in that it is affected by subtleties
rather than the gross overdoing of work
that people admire

that thing gets bent out of shape
so far
that you can't see where it began
or even what you originally started doing

so he learned
resting
a lot
is a good thing

this
to kinda let things
rest back into their natural shape
or as close to natural as possible
given this insanely backwards world we live in...

so instead of putting in effort
and following it with more effort
and then still more effort
in hopes of finally
someday
pushing past the boundary of change

he kinda thinks
a better way
at least for himself
is to just be gardening...

give the plant what it needs
but let it mostly grow on its own..

and then when he is waiting
to see what kind of plant he has
he gets the added pleasure
of having some fun
instead of working nonstop

and maybe he can stop for some ice cream
or sometimes to write in a journal

he considered
what is the point
of doing tremendously hard work
just to attain
a difficult goal
noone
is going to let him attain?

he seems to be
on a different page
than the expected one...

which is ok
he guesses,
he needs an excuse
he supposes
to just accept
that what isn't going to work
simply isn't going to work

sigh...

today
is kind of
a toss you around the room
fall down on the floor
kind of day

well at least it happened twice...
well anyway...

good thing
he cottoned on
to kneeling
while meditating...

makes it palatable...

speaking of which
when he started kneeling
again
recently

he found
his arms
were light
not heavy

and it was easy to hold them up.

that was an interesting development
especially so
since
he never tried to get
from here to there

it just kinda happened

kind of a dream
come true...

lol!

he been working
on the solar plexus
as well

for quite some time
really

it is really really different
now
than when he started
all those years ago!

so the last few days
have been great
for meditation

but he is kinda spent
lol

just as well
should take a break
today on his birthday

some people
do not like him
very much.

endless meanness.

And he guesses
that has to be ok.

He even guesses,
it might be an unacceptable thing
and maybe even
an uncaring thing

to expect to be liked
that way...

oh well
it isn't like
he doesn't have things to do
here
in his own corner
of this little world.
