I found this needed guidance of Ernest Holmes' teachings on the Science of Mind within the references below:

"WHY DO WE THINK EVIL?"

Question—If there is a Thinker behind all, who does the thinking, and if He is all good, why do we think evil? (page 16)

ANSWER—There is but one Thinker and one Mind behind all. To think otherwise is to suppose duality, and duality cannot be. That this One is the essence of Goodness is necessary, else the universe would be self-destructive. That this One is the Original Cause is certain and that this Cause is a perfect Unit is self-evident. Man exists in this One, but with perfect freed0m, since he is an individual with the power of selection or choice, without which power there could be no real freedom. But man is on the pathway of unfoldment and does not yet fully comprehend his true nature. In ignorance of this nature he brings calamity upon himself through a misuse of the creative powers of his being. In reality God is the first Thinker, the true Cause. This Cause flows through man at the level of his comprehension of It. Man thinks limitation. The result which follows is not REAL limitation but an expression of his freedom, which freedom is so COMPLETE that it causes him to APPEAR limited. MAN IS BOUND BY HIS FREEDOM RATHER THAN BY ANY REAL BONDAGE.
To believe only in the good is to demonstrate that the good ALONE has real power.

TREATMENT

Question—Will the same treatment take care of, or be effective for, both health and prosperity, or must there be two different kinds of treatments given? (page 33)

ANSWER—In the last analysis there is but one treatment given for anything that is desired. That treatment consists in convincing the mind that the thing desired is already accomplished. The only thing that seems to be difficult is for the person to KNOW THAT HE KNOWS that what he asks is already his. Since man is of the Divine Substance, the quality of KNOWING is inherently active within him. But until man knows consciously that this inherent wisdom is at his command, he cannot use it consciously. Treatment is not for the purpose of making things happen; it is to provide, within ourselves, an avenue through which they may happen. Treatment opens up the avenues of thought, expands the consciousness, and lets Reality through; it clarifies the mentality, removes the obstructions of thought and lets in the Light. We already live in a Perfect Universe, but It needs to be mentally seen before It can become a part of our experience. Treatment removes doubt and fear; lets in the realization of the Presence of Spirit; and is necessary while we are confronted by obstruction or obstacles. Every problem is primarily mental, and the answer to all problems will be found in Spiritual Realization.

"SPIRIT - SELF-KNOWINGNESS"

Question: How may we develop spiritual insight (page 3)?

ANSWER: Emerson said, "We must learn to listen greatly to the self". One should practice being perfectly still and waiting for one's own mind to speak. One should listen, not as though he were making himself receptive to spirit influences, but knowing that perfect intelligence flows through him. For instance, if one desires to know anything relative to a certain proposition, he should seek to know that the Infinite Intelligence operating through him acquaints him with the answer to his problem. Thus God's knowledge becomes our conscious knowledge. Wisdom passes from potentiality into actuality.

Why something isn’t manifesting?

This question from SF colleague Raven47 started me on a journey of finding answers, that has been very satisfactory, as indicated here:

I also found a wonderful site called Reality Creation by Frederick Dodson, referenced below. It was a shock to realize that the difference between thinking OF what I want, and thinking FROM what I want is like the difference between looking AT a postcard of someone's vacation...and being AT the location itself! All these sources explain it all so clearly...and, to me, amplifies the inner realization Frederick Dodson's initial article struck in me that caused me to share his view, together with this information from Amanda Aitken, which seems to resonate in sympathetic congruence with his view.

These sites are chock full of extremely helpful articles that are just as insightful as the one I used to entitle this thread. Please be advised that one need do no more than peruse the excellent articles on Frederick Dodson's site, especially the encyclopedic articles under Free Stuff.

Hi you... I've been re-visting sites , and been reading this one again..
4 things strike me...
Firstly... Give yourself a present...Love that it's twin peaks.
I often look in the mirror and wish I had bleeding eyes LOL..

Second.. I Love your last 3 posts, and in particular Love that you have high-lighted in the most gorgeous colour blue..my favourite colour ever...

Thirdly... I LOVE your humour. Even though it may not be apparant , I know different !!!!!!!!

And Fourth .... And most importantly, your reference to your grand daughter..... That one sentence was very emotional, and I felt a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye.
