Burial without a hologram

Suppose a person passes on without a hologram to bury. In this particular case the person crossed over without a physical death. How do you proceed with the farewell and rituals associated with death?

A hologram is something that is made in memory of someone who has passed.
It has nothing to do with how a person passes away.
That is my understanding of it anyway

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Nobody crosses over from incarnate to discarnate life without it being occasioned by their physical death.

Technically that is or should be the case that you pass by physical death. In this case the person sort of disappeared and crossed over. When or how do you declare them dead for a burial and farewell.

Shoni7510, funerals and other burial rituals are more for the living to make peace with the passing
of someone then they are for the dead. There are lots of people whose physical body is never found and
still there are memorial services for that person. Usually a picture of the person is displayed at the memorial
service, and sometimes that person never died and shows up after a memorial service when everyone thought
that person was dead. Having a physical body present to bury or cremate often helps to bring a little closure
to the death of a loved one, while not having a physical body may keep the loved ones guessing, and grieving,
with an unresolved feeling.

The common law rule is that a person must be missing at least seven years before they are legally presumed
dead. But this law varies from State to State in the U.S. Of course a person is presumed dead sooner if
there is circumstantial evidence of foul play involved with their disappearance.

It's not a technical issue that death of the body has to occur before the animating spirit returns to the etheric dimension. It's what defines corporeal death. That's a wholly different situation from what had been asked earlier.

The point at which a declaration of death is made when a person has gone missing is very difficult to nail. Do it to soon and there can be problems if the individual has disappeared but is not actually dead. Leave it late and families' lives can be put on hold leaving them in great distress.

We have to trust our law makers to determine a reasonable length of time and inevitably some will disagree with whatever is chosen as reasonable. It's what humankind does....

Thanks for the thoughts and suggestions. I think I will wait a bit longer and ask the universe to intervene and show me a way out however.
