Itchy hands and feet

Hello!

I have been having itchy hands and feet. Its more of a tingling feeling, like you get in your crown chakra. They alternate between left hand/foot and right hand/foot and it's been so irritating. Does anyone know what this might be about?

My mother says her left hand itches when she's going to receive money, and pay out when her right hand itches. But I wouldn't known thing about an opportunity for money.

I do know though, that it must be a sign or synchronicity for something.

I am thinking like Starbuck said, energy .... are you doing any energy or healing work ?

However, my first thought was itchy feet = the urge to travel, wander .... and itchy hands, like your Mother said, with the left hand receiving money, but when the right hand itches it means you are going to meet someone (one usually shakes hands with the right hand) . Take your choice on the options

Wow I always get itchy hands and feet, I never thought anything of it!! Next time I'm going to think about what I've been doing energy wise and see if it links!! Thanks for posting this!!

Interesting reading here. My mother always said the same things too. Itchy hands means money. Itchy feet means travel.

I replied once, "Does that mean I am going to win the lottery and go to exciting places?" For this I got a playful swat for my teasing her. So my take on itchy hands, means Mom is about to swat you. lol

Ha, for the last month or so I have an itch near my last 2 toes of the right foot!
Come on! How weird is THAT!
There is absolutely no redness, rash...it is smooth soft skin, no diff from the
surrounding skin. More on the top of foot near toes.
No tingling, just itchy...no athlete's foot, nothing between toes.
How weird!
I have done nothing diff...no new detergents, socks, walking thru grasses barefoot, bla bla.

I know, I'll lotion with Aveeno. But, Cortizone 10 did nothing.
But, as my Jewish friends say, This should be the worst of my problems! ;)

I agree with Starbuck's simple explanation. The big fad these days here on SF seems to be "twin souls"... but back in, say, 2009 or 2011, a lot of posts here at SF were about "ascension" - the rising of energy and consciousness in individuals, and collectively among the human race. It was all connected conceptually with the expectations of 2012. In any case, there were discussions about 'ascension symptoms' not only here at SF but on a number of web pages specifically devoted to addressing the aches, pains, meridian-clearing sensations (like itches), chakra activations, mood shifts, psychological clearings, etc, etc.

I've definitely experienced these sorts of things. I've been experiencing an increasing variety of things like this since 2002 or so. These "symptoms" (if we want to call them that) are part of an ongoing process that has psycho-physical apsects. What I do is cut back on the amount of time I put into some practices during a day - or even leave off for a day (or a few) - if the symptoms become too intrusive or uncomfortable. I never actually abandon my active spiritual life, I've just learned to manage my practice regime.

I'm not personally doing any energy work — if I am it's totally on autopilot. However I was getting help from an energy worker not too long ago. But I'm not sure it's connected to that specifically. It's definitely energy-related in nature.

I've heard about the ascension process (around the time it was a fad I had just started learning about twin souls :P), I haven't really invested anything in it so I'm not sure it's that. Whatever it is, I'll learn the purpose for it eventually.
