Linen... south zone early youth season for white tailed deer opens here in Texas Oct 31st......both boys are absolutely going nuts waiting for this Saturday to get here!
There bedroom already looks like a staging area for a worldwide expedition with a giant pile of assorted hunting and outdoor **** piled up between the beds ready to go!
There plan is to hunt the barrier islands this weekend. And yes...they are going by themselves.
They will take Nicks little boat down the Laguna Madre from where we live.....find a camp spot to set up there tent and they intend to hunt those islands all weekend.
With the expansion of cell towers along the coast they will both have cell phones on the off chance they get in trouble although I don't expect that...they are both very mature and responsible for there age and they have already submitted a plan to upper management (me and there mom) for where they intend to be and know not to deviate from that area.
although I'm not going I'm so excited for both of them! we'll see how it goes.
