One of my hot pepper plants from last year died.

Transplanting some of the pepper plants from the front to the backyard.

Some plants already have peppers on them and some of those are ghost peppers.

Sorry to hear about your plant.

But amazed you have peppers already!

Can you grow year round? Or do the plants take a break?

Odd, this year, they produced peppers year round.

Reminds me of my rose bush in front of the house.
On special holidays such as Christmas and New Years, she blooms.

I have another rose bush in back that rarely blooms. This year, she did bloom, and I mean she really did bloom. I counted over 200 flowers!

BigJohn, makes you wonder, why one plant and not another?

We planted onions and rosemary yesterday and cleaned up the garden a bit.

Will work on lettuce, spinach and Swiss chard and squashes. Maybe some carrots.

The Pepper survived the Winter but it was the heat that got to her. I had some Horseradish that survived the Winter but succumbed to the heat.

I have some onions that survived the Winter and are growing nicely.

I have grown Rosemary but she generally dies off in a year or two.

I watched a teleconference on xeriscaping and the botanist recommending adding “squeegee” rock to the soils mixture for drainage, at least for our area. We have a lot of clay. I am hoping my rosemary lasts longer this time.

I am having a hard time getting into the garden. And all my indoor plants died last year. Planning getting some new indoor plants in a while. Has to be an easy kind… maybe I should buy some flowers for myself.

Peonies.......

I had a bed of peonies. I would dig them up and split them. Relatively easy job except some Yellow jacket hornets had made their home around the roots. I dug them up and did not get stung even though they weree watching me every minute.
