I Made A Garden.

The sun gives warmth to the water which flows, and the earth becomes abundant with life.

Every living thing the sustainer of another in a cycle diverse and varied... and lives itself to be alive.

While an ant serves the colony beyond and above himself, and a catapillar transforms after such a long sleep... and eighteen years later cicada song arizes. all for no other reason than to create new life.

I was a singer who moved hearts; made men cry, but they had loved before and knew tears of joy and pain.

I made a garden with flowers for the birds, and put boxes in the trees for possum neighbours, a pond I made for frogs and tiny brown fish, which I took from a natural pool in the national park.

I hear them, frogs, in the middle of the night. Doing some song to woo some princess who might kiss them... yeah, they wish.

I really just made a little place as though it were an invitation, a wordless one, but by my actions I announced 'Hey, here's a place to live', and I felt myself as a cicada does, where all I do is a cicada song, and I sing for the same reason.

I can teach you how to make a garden and a philosopher you will become, but I can not teach you philosophy and make you a gardener.

So true - I can philosophize like nobodies business - but I truly suck at gardening. >_<

My wife, however, doesn't do too bad.

Nice Gem! Guppys are hardy enough lol ... I used to get the frogs going with my guitar up on the farm ... especially after the rain lol

Your missus' lillies are beautiful, Humm. They're almost like the tiger lillies my mom used to grow ~ they were orange with brown spots.
