Today is Pearl Harbor Day

I was born two months after the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor.

We weren't ready, knew war was coming and let our guard down.

That attack led to a vicious war, terminating at Nagasaki.

I was in Japan in '60 and saw two survivors of Nagasaki. Not a pretty sight.

I have not forgotten Pearl Harbor in a very long time. Every year on this day I stop what I am doing at some point and bow my head. Remembering those who came before us, whether in war or in peace, is a good thing.

This year marks the last year that the Pearl Harbor Survivor's Association will function. They are just about all gone now.

War is hell. But war is a reality of being human. It is not going to go away. Knowing this, it befits a man to walk in peace and keep his sword sharp.

Remember Pearl Harbor.

If you are open for discussing this.... what would have happened instead, if Pearl Harbour hadn't happened?

Pearl Harbor did happen. Anything else is speculation.
