Thank you all very much for your replies. I am really appreciating your opinions and good tips.

I will not lose faith in Love... for me love between two humans is to be an image of the Love Divine... so I yearn for LOVE as for the Love Divine...

I will go on sending out love and waiting for a response - if you say the universe listens, maybe I will one day get an answer.

I don't want to be a misery here but...

True love, being unconditional, has no conditions whatsoever. There is a condition in your statement above though, a man and a woman.

If the idea is that you love a particular individual more than anyone else, (or in a different way to how you love everyone else), then that love is not unconditional.

Neither am I!
I just wondered what response this statement, (which I believe to be profoundly true), would receive.

The thing is that there IS such a thing as love being special as well as unconditional - this being the result of unique individuals.

I believe the reality of unconditional love can help us to transcend the apparent paradox of the Oneness of all life simultaneous with the unique individuality and ever-increasing diversity of all life.

I should probably consider a new thread for all this however.

I think I found out what is going wrong. It's me. Of course it is ME standing in the way of getting what I want most!

See, I am overweight; and I'm pretty much using my weight as an excuse for not being loved. I feel that as a FAT (really fat) woman I have no right to be "sensuously" loved. So the universe is conceiving that and is sending me the only kind of love I am willing to accept - the loving energy of my friends and family.

But I am not being loved the way I want to be loved.

I need to work on loving myself first. As long as I keep thinking "I'd first need to lose 50 kg to be loved by a man", I won't get one; that should be quite clear.

It sounds so simple to accept myself the way I am... and there begins the vicious circle: I am feeling bad, thus I get no love, I get no love, thus I feel bad...

Hummm, hummm... ways to get out of there? Only the one to work on my weight while working on my self-acceptance. I see no other way to get the love I desire.

And still, sending out loving energy to try to attract that special somebody who will take me as I am.
