No, they do it themselves ((yes, they are people too with agency. It's not just ''we'')). They have a huge population and are a very small country. Of course they are going to have issues with their fish populations.

The population is unnaturally clustered,loads of more affluent people in a small area will cause problems,unnatural = by our design with a greed intent.Also,I say this again We=The affluent,so greed is not a specific räce or country.

'More humans =less wild life' lets consider that statement and consider the type of human-prior to moving here a patch of land was covered with astro turf that one man owned,a single human,three humans now look after that plot,got rid of the plastic turf,been adding constant organic matter to the almost dead soil so we now have life flourishing to a great deptha,the birds and other creatures come to feast on the worms,the fish and frogs in the small pond are plump due to the insect life and our scraps,bees come birds nest and yet the human population has in effect trebled for that small plot.

Not true as it is unnatural to over indulge for long periods,even if you over indulge on the most natural of foodstuffs.

We lost our place in the balance once we started to make tools. Then we learned how to master our environment and over time we got better at it. Then we domesticated plants and animals and with it we have changed entire environments, often (though not always) making them less biodiverse.
