Do you believe in God? Why or why not?

I'd like to have a definite answer on this one. But I don't. Perhaps if I had not wandered off to Cal Tech and hear Scientific teachers, I could say a definite, but I started to question it all when in my 30's and I'm 83.

Ya I think God is all in belief.... If someone doesnt believe it doesnt make them BAD,it just means they think differently which is good in a way....

Why would there be a God and not a Goddess too?, I believe and pray to both, I think woman's had it hard and has been pushed into the dark not to know her own heavenly glory, I am not sexist which many have been since time began, only believing in a God and not the equal opposite Goddess the feminine, I praise the feminine and exalt her beauty in the heavens above.

We are not these bodies....we never die.

If there is a good god, why is that god not cleaning up the mess here on earth? Why did that god let it all go wild as it has.

Cuz we were given the freedom to make a mess of things or take care of things.
Our choice.
Another question if going in that direction could be -"Why'd You give us choice, God?
''Why not place your Creatures in a land of fun and peace?''
There would be many comments to THAT one different, maybe, from each religion or personal experience - meaning Insight
or Knowledge given.

I always like to add - I see no reason why a person should believe in God.

I believe in God, when I speak of God I mean the Father of all creation, that God because there are many Gods and that's a fact that we have to live with.

I think God is yet to be realized and understood by us his followers. You could say many things about God's personality and traits but at the end of the day he is only one way, that way is the loving way.

I like to say Father of all creation because that's something he could be but, we need to make way for the atheist whom have their own origin and don't believe in a God, mainly because they're not from God, atheist have their own ways/path and origin.

What you are referring to when you say "God" as the father of all creation i call Source, All That Is or The Monad and he (she , it) is within us all in regards to the spirited humans and is thus not external to us and encompasses all that is! The Monad sits at the middle of all universes and is unfathomable in its wholeness.

God is a loaded word but when you bring up followers (and worshippers) that being who is God of the material universe where we currently dwell is not the highest God but takes on that role in his arrogance! His general personae, characteristics and or traits is that of a dual nature, he is good AND evil! He is an imposter and grand master manipulator amongst other things.

Aetheist don't believe in anything, True Source, an imposter God or otherwise, they don't believe in any of it. They don't have they're "own origin" like you say and are humans just like us so they fall into one of the two categories, they are either spirited or non- spirited. Most dare i say all of these people want to speed up the Singularity process and possibly live forever and be immortal (or close to it) in the Singularity..

Such a soul would, after having passed on in the astral be bounced back and forth at a very high velocity until they orient themselves and or come to the realization that they are soul with sparks of divine (spirit) and that they're consciousness is not equated to the brain and that they're personality is an a number of expedited experiences transferred to the Oversoul. I do agree with you that they are on they're own path, like every soul (with spirit attached) but usually spirited beings path has to do with the astral and will ascend to higher Dimensions/Heavens while others will "transcend" this realm of the Demiurges. They're path however has to do with technology, immortality and superintelligence. They dont want to deal with the whole death process so they want to bypass it by possibly living forever. They however will not realize they're mistake until its too late (See The Singularity)
