if I can see a christian on the street who is actually a nice person and who isn't being evil like christians are supposedly supposed to be acting then I won't be anti christian -- but I will not be a cult follower of an evil satanic book -

I don't like homosexual gang rapists - but I'm not against gays - and there are probably even christians who aren't against gays

feminism makes me sick -- there are a lot of really evil women -- but I'm not a misogynist - if the female can be a descent person - then I don't have a problem with her

It is always there, but only when it fluctuates to extremes do we take note of it. Typically we blame and criticize those who commit the atrocities and talk about how we would never go along with such a thing. Yet it happens over and over again all over the globe sooner or later in all societies. It is in the end, one of those things human herds do. Everybody condemns those monsters and talks about how we need to remain vigilant to never let it happen again, yet they don't seem to ever see the need to remain vigilant against the monster lurking within themselves, that is why it keeps happening. The one group sees the evil in the other, but never in themselves. Seeing that evil in the other they go out in self righteousness to do their duty and destroy it, and in so doing, often become it themselves.
