Funny,i was reading this and felt like a clone.

To answer your question and generally speaking,i think plants would cohabit with a clone.

They adapt quite well to any change and with the seasons,free from thought and prejudice,they just 'are'.

I don't think it would be like a twin flame,a reflection etc,nature is perfect as is,you can't replicate perfection.

The problem i see,is that cloning and mating/crossing with a non clone,would alter nature for what it was not intended and have dire effects down the food chain.
