Carrier Oils
Hi :)
I've been meaning to make up some blends, and was just curious about what carrier oils to use. At the moment I have Sesame, Apricot Kernel and Sweet Allmond. One of my books mentions which carrier oils to dilute, so I was thinking about what oils to use together...
Oh! Myrtle is really nice ~ just used that in my oil warmer :)

carrier oils
The site AromaWeb has some good info on all the carrier oils.( I can not post a link as I have not enough posts yet but you can google search the site.)

I use olive oil. Usually people have that at home :)
The site StrandedSnowMonkey provided suggests not using it as a massage oil as the smell is quote-unquote overwhelming, but I use it for that and see no issues with it...

I noticed that too. In my fragrant pharmacy book, it says to dilute olive oil down to 10%. The shop here has a load of books which you can flick through, so will have a look when I pop back :)
