My friends used to say to me, ''your evil twin sister is coming out!"
That was prior to 2006.

You can use the mind for whatever you want, be it good or bad but the mind is more inclined to the organic side of things so the things it presents to you are kinda influnced by this. It does not give you the truth, it gives you its own interpretation of the truth.

I give you this simple example, a man has the money to save himself from a sickness but at the same time, he can use this money to save somebody else, 99.999999999% of people save themselves. Don't tell me this is not the mind at work.

I think that when you act from that which is beyond the mind, you act from your "Higher Self", but when you act only from the mind, you act from your "lower self".

We see this at animals, a lion will eat you in no time because it only acts from its mind and its mind is very rooted in the organic side of things, in the material side of things.

I put things more simple, Who You Really Are and the false self.

Thank God you have a mind that functions you can add some wisdom to it and use it for the good of yourself and others..... An animal doesn't know any difference but we have the potential to know the difference....

we only have a vague idea of who and what we are, because our ideas are not from us, they come from the "organic" brain using another posters term :)

so can you look without an idea? if you do, you find there is not one thing missing or one thing to change or find

Jesus talked about the denial of the self but this was overlooked. .

depends on what the desire is. the desire to find god is not from the false self. but let me re-word that. the desire to find god = the desire to connect with the truth. but yea of course the desire to find god can be of the false self, but then it can not be as well. depends on grace, that unknown thing that is like a light switch, insight that instantly melts the delusions to reveal the reality that lies beyond them
