Crystal to fend of ghosts and visions

Hello guys,

I'm writing a novel and the protagonist is able to see ghosts and has random, unwanted visions about people to the point where he tends to see stuff about them when he touches them. I want him to wear something at some point in the series which blocks these capabilities out. So he doesn't have these visions anymore and cannot perceive ghosts anymore.

I want the novel to be somewhat realistic to actual spiritual practices though.

What stone could be charged with such a purpose and intent by a witch for example?

I would say iron and copper and metal for breaking a magic or spiritual connection . Also moldavite is a stone used in ancient wicca and spells, its rare and expensive , it is also used for enchantment , its a lovely forrest green colour .Another stone of interest and unsual in appearence is a desert rose , it is believed to hold an enchanted protector or spirit guide to the one it is gifted or binded to.
