And although I am not christian and do not hold a need for any religion in my life; I like the bibles God personally, he explains the suffering best to me. I like his wisdom, and hold no need for religion and mediums and movements of men.

I am exploring him, because I do not yet know him. But I suffer and I wanted to know why. The whole world suffers and I wanted to know why. And I have seen some good answers in the bible, without having to go to some person or represenitive to guide me. I can walk through it myself. Mickiel

Ok, I read this and say to myself: here is a guy describing to us his God and why his God is the God he describes......................cool............... ..thank you for sharing.
You don't seem to be trying to sell Him to others, so I guess you are just sharing.
Cool................

So in summary, this thread is about sharing your God......................cool.

Is that the intent of your thread? I have not read it carefully but I am curious.
What is the intent of your thread? What made you post it?

I mean if this is your intent, any attempt to convince you otherwise would be like trying to convince mother theresa that there is no need for a pope.
Why would we want to do that? I wouldn't...........
How has your belief in your God changed your life or how has it changed the world? (if you don't mind me asking.)

Blessings, James

Personally, I think hes trying to convince himself he isnt christian, even though every single post and argument he makes is strickly based on christian literature.....

Sure, you can read the bible and not be christian, but if it walks, quaks, and looks like a duck, its probably a duck..

My spiritual career (lol) started by reading the bible apart from any organized religions. My goal was to get out of it what ever it was it had to say to me without outside influence. It changed my life. I read/studied it for 10 years.
I carried this openness about thngs with me to a place years later. This openness and honesty is what allowed me to put down the bible, lovingly like an old friend, and sail across to different shores.
It was like the Buddhist say...............a raft that helped me across, that there was no need to carry around once across..........so I put it down.

Yes, as any raft or road map.
We don't stand under a sign that says Orlando and think we have arrived.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

My sincere wish for you, mickiel, is that one day out of the blue, God blesses you with such an experience of sheer awe that you "see" that you are indeed one with the Creator and at the same time separate.

He in you and you in Him - inseparable, yet, here, a veil has been placed that can be blown away, like paper chains.

It is quite the paradox, alright.

are you sure it's of the same time simultaneously? i mean if creator is timeless, how could you even talked about it to be in time?

Or if he is part of our reality, and we are a part of him, then how can he not be a part of time?
