That's for you to decide, but imo if your defending yourself or others and there's no other way except through retaliating then I would say no.

Take for example a person who is harmful to an innocent person. He/she is unskillful and unworthy. But God still loves him/her and helps him/her heal himself/herself.

If you are deliberately hurting an innocent person then imo you need to get some professional help immediately before you do something you will regret...
I'll leave it at that, I'm not qualified to give you further advice.....

This is a strange sentence to me to place on the Forum- could you explain more what you mean by you are harmful to an innocent person?

I was only giving an example. I am not being harmful to anyone.

I am arguing that a person who is harmful to an innocent would be unskillful and unworthy. There is no other way.

I see - you have time to Edit previous posts -
that would help people understand you better. I advise that.

I would also love for you to give examples or explain what do you mean exactly by ''unskillful''? Take your time. :)
PS we don't argue here or even debate, (in the Rules), we discuss - rather you are presenting your point of view...:)

I edited my posts. Thanks.

I don't have specific examples but we are all unskillful compared to God. That's for sure. For example, we get angry, we steal (I did that when I was a kid,
I am so sorry), we fail our loved ones, etc.

green1, I am understanding better - if Eng is not your first language...I will say for myself,
''skilled and unskillful'' are not words I have ever heard in this context, meaning used as God is 'skilled'....
and that we are not.
