Greetings to everyone! I'm new here

Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello to everyone. Not sure why I'm here yet. A bit about me...
I'm an empath, and as such have lived a fairly reclusive life. I'm a 48 yr old female who lives with my Indigo daughter and an assortment of adopted furbabies.
No religious upbringing to speak of but Ive always been spiritual. To be honest, my family thought I was weird. As a small child I would comment on a persons *colors*, not understanding that I was seeing their auras. I used the term colors well into my 20's, not knowing any other term for what I was seeing. Some family members avoided me because I would blurt out some bit of knowledge about them that I had no way of knowing. I learned eventually to keep my thoughts to myself.
In my teens I realized that I was constantly picking up on others feelings and emotions. Shopping was very hard, and still is at times, due to feeling so many feelings and emotions around me. Can't tell ya how many times I have walked out of a store because it became overwhelming.
i have experienced many amazing things over the years, too many to list. I have avoided, doubted, and tried to block so many things out simply because I just never understood. But one day you realize that some things just dont go away and you have no choice but to accept, and try to find your way.
Ive read and studied alot but seem most drawn to the works of Doreen Virtue and Cayce.
I look forward to learning and exploring with everyone here.

Thank you CW, for the warm welcome. I too, think I will be very happy here, it just feels as if this is where Im supposed to be. This is the first spiritual board Ive ever read and all I can say is wow! To read of so many others who are as like minded as I am, who have experienced things I have and can share those things without fear of ridicule is a true blessing to me.
Oh boy, Im going to be up all night reading everything!

A special thank you to those three who sent to me....bare with me here as I try to find and use the right words...(the gift of your loving light energy?) I really cant define it properly with words but just know it was received and so appreciated.
