Spiritual Progress = Bad Dreams?

Quick question. In the last few weeks, I feel as though I've made some significant steps in my spiritual progress, and I am seeing life unfold before me in a much more personal and relevant way. However, it seems that whenever I sleep, my dreams are more intense and often negative. Sometimes I'll wake up angry because the dream was so poignant. This is very strange to me, because when I was not focused on spiritual progress, my dreams were NEVER negative.

So why would spiritual practice invoke negativity in my dreams?

effectively and lovingly deal with some troubled, "negative" energies.
the 'negative things' are in service to you, they've simply been mislabeled
as undesirable at some point in your evolutionary journey [possibly in a
'past life']. it's your task to find the ways in which these undesirables can
be of service to your wholeness. feel into the anger and/or poignant energy
and see what information it's been carrying for you -- allow it to deliver it's
message to you and it'll become free to shed the judgments laid against it.
