Subconscious Not Not

I read somewhere that the subconscious does not register the word "not." Prevent from happening is probably the same as "not." So, instead of affirming avoid pain, not cause pain, not have pain, not have anything unwanted or bad happen, I affirm remain comfortable, mentally and physically. That pretty much covers everything to avoid.

In general, I have really amazing "defensive" luck, avoiding unwanted/bad things, but poor "offensive" luck, creating wanted/good things. If the latter was as effective as the former for me, I'd be set for life! Fortunately, I have very good luck keeping the few good things I do manage to create.

Consciousness is powerful. Whatever we focus our attention on is drawn to us. That is why the word "not" is ignored.

When we state "I am" the word which follows is the focus. So if we state some thing like healing vs healed that is what is attracted. Healing being a process we experience before we are healed. So if you say healing the energy of your intent is to stay in that process and never be healed.

It would be nice if we understood the power of our affirmations. Every thought and phrase we say is an affirmation. Which is why a good outlook on life is so very important. Stay happy, be grateful, and focus on the positive aspects of life. When we neglect to do these things our affirmation is that we must want to experience things like sadness, poverty, and negative energies. Naturally you can attract those low vibrational things much more quickly by focusing your attention on them.

Some day all humans will know that every thought and word we say is an affirmation.

That’s right, the mind can’t compute negatives, so always avoid them when making affirmations and always make sure that they are in the PRESENT TENSE (the mind takes things literally).

For good offensive luck, try using the ACKNOWLEDGING TECHNIQUE. This is where you pay attention to all of the moments of good offensive luck you have had in the past, in order to attract more. It as if you are saying “ what I can attract once, I can attract again and again. “

Make a list of all of the moments you have had, and then add something new to this….for each one, say JUST MY LUCK.

We usually say this ironically when we have had some bad luck, but it works even better when we have had good. When you say just my luck after experiencing good luck, it imprints a new belief. It’s as if you are saying that good luck is what habitually happens to you and what you attract.

Your emphasis on the vibrational complement of thoughts, as the energetic engine behind affirmations, was very helpful....
