Beyond I AM.
There is reality beyond I AM. My belief is that most of God lies beyond I AM. A place where magic exists, love is free and miracles do happen.
The problem with I AM is that it is restricted by its own self definition. If one breaks out of I AM then one realises that YOU ARE, WE ARE and GOD IS too.
Once one sets into the mantra or pattern of I AM then it starts becoming increasingly difficult to snap out of it. But the truth is it is not just ME who is God. You are God, We are God and God is God too. It is the whole of God combined that creates the magical thing called reality.

“I am that I am” - Jehovah. [Exodus 3:14].
When God Himself states thus , how can you contradict it and state that most of God lies beyond I AM !

Except that “Ehyeh asher Enyeh” really does not translate to that. Actually it means “I will be what I will be.”

Exodus 3:14 does not say what you claim.

Well, I suppose it is a similar meaning.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Am_that_I_Am
I see more of the 'I am that I am' version in the internet, and I am not a Jew or Abrahamic.
I do believe however I was one in a past life.

I have to understand within myself that I AM is a serious matter. Anyone who is anyone in the spiritual world claims that I AM. I have a tenuous relationship with my own I AM. It is in need of more attention.

Hi Honza,
I would love to talk with you after one week of practicing
sitting in silence and focusing on awareness...
just Awareness Itself that is inside you.
"What is aware?
Who is aware?
What is this consciousness in me looking out of my eyes?
When I close my eyes It is still there -aware, observing, present.
I still have thoughts - Who is thinking these thoughts ---
Who is aware of these thoughts?"
And so forth.
Goal? Become intimately acquainted with the I AM - or That Which Is Awareness Itself.
''TWIAI'' - I just made that up... I could open a Church or start an Organization, the "TWIAI Society".

I have heard that translation as well but, somehow, it seems to imply "future". I actually prefer "I am ... that ... I AM" even if it is not precisely what the author intended.
Ramana Maharshi has also quoted the "I am ... that ... I AM" translation as well and similarly seems to prefer it.

I was not initially drawn to the I AM though I had thought about it a lot in the past. Then, while reading Ramana Maharshi and Nisargadatta Maharaj, I was convinced to try chanting "I AM" for a week (with no other thoughts). Suddenly and somewhat inexplicably, I understood.
Try practicing it for a week and see for yourself since you seem drawn to I AM for what may well be a very good reason.
Eventually, as Ramana Maharshi pointed out, "that which is does not even say I AM". Even the I AM subsides as one goes "Beyond I AM" in accordance with your original post.

Still Waters,
I can see it either way…..the future connotation might bother some because they will assert that God is unchanging…I can accept the ‘I will be’ as meaning God can reveal more of himself at any time…..I.e. what He reveals was always there and the revelation only has the appearance of a change that has occurred….. I am what I am is true for the moment of declaration but tomorrow could be different(as layers disappear that obscure your true Self)….
