I'm for plain truth and common sense, I don't believe the ''money vs happiness'' false dichotomy.

More money can also mean more worries. But less worries always means less worries.
The only reason you want money or ANY DESIRE, is only because you think you will feel better in the having, being or doing of it. There will never be a greater desire in your existence or that of anyone else's, than happiness. Forever and throughout all of infinite and eternal ever expanding existence.

You do you then, and I will do what I want. Money helps in many ways, and I mentioned a few.
But if you like the thrill of meeting month's end and not able to look beyond then by all means....!
I do not need you to tell me what I (should) desire. I can do that myself, thank you very much.

Altair,
I like the punctuation point your post represents to this thread.
Thanks for pointing out what is actually so obvious.

Yeah, there is nothing wrong with money, just as there is nothing wrong with any of your desires.
I was also not telling you what you should or should not desire.

I think it depends on three factors:
1) Your mental perception of money
2) The importance of having money
3) How you manage your money
Maybe it starts from home..If you grew up not having a lot of physical money, and your circumstances has made you into the fantastic person that you are today, then maybe less and genuinely mean more...
