It's not even something we can grab, On the contrary It grabs us and that recognition is the "knowing" of Self-realization. Call it Grace.

Yeah, Green has a lot of good vids on YouTube as well.

Sounds like the opening description of Vedic epistemology in the Vid you posted..... on some other shore I think.
A realization that one is the light, illuminating the objects.

We think we're the Moon when in reality we are the Sun.

The Rishis of yore were pretty sharp cookies.

The Rishis look into the consciousness of their own minds, while the scientists look into their instruments, and they each end up seeing the other looking back at them.

Einstein Called It "Spooky"

Over 100 years ago with Einststein’s Special Theory of Relativity (E=MCsquared), it was shown that everything is energy. Subsequent experiments, especially the Wave /Particle Duality experiments showed that the consciousness of the observer affected the outcome. But science has taken the position to avoid a philosophical debate about how this can be true.

One of the quantum phenomenon that Einstein himself called, “spooky” is “quantum entanglement”, where if entangled particles are separated even by vast distances (light years), if one particles spin or axis is varied, the other entangled particle will instantly change to vibrate precisely identical to the particle that was varied—not merely at the speed of light or ten times the speed of light, but instantly. Since Einstein first predicted it, this phenomenon has been empirically proven many times

There is a real good book that was written for non-technical college students: “Quantum Enigma: Physics Encounters Consciousness” by Bruce Rosenblum, Fred Kuttner
Amazon’s Description: “Trying to understand the atom, physicists built quantum mechanics and found, to their embarrassment, that their theory intimately connects consciousness with the physical world. Quantum Enigma explores what that implies and why some founders of the theory became the foremost objectors to it.”

personally, i believe “spooky action at a distance” only occurs specifically because there are other - as of yet undiscovered - dimensions involved with quantum behaviors.

and those dimensions are not “space”, nor “time” defined ... probably why modern science can’t find them.

which returns their probability to the realm of consciousness all over again.

only reason “entanglement” occurs instantaneously is because temporal & spacial dimensions are not involved with the activity (even though the results show up in time and space).

furthermore; a pair of entangled photons are not “determined” to be either a “particle behavior” nor a “wave behavior” until one of the two subjects is actually witnessed - at the moment of determining whether the behavior (of one) is “wave-like” or “particle-like”, the entangled photon immediately is also proven to be witnessed as an identical behavior as the first had been (wave or particle).

in other words; if one subject is viewed as a wave-like representation, the twin will not be witnessed as a particle-like representation at the same instant.

if that phenomenon doesn’t represent “conscious dimensions” implicitly then i don’t know what else would convince anyone of the connection.

Another good book on Quantum Physics and Mysticism is "Quantum Questions" edited by Ken Wilber. It contains the "mystical" writings of Nobel Prize winning Quatum Physicists such as Schoedinger, Einstein, DeBroglie, Eddington, Planck, etc.

Schroedinger actually says that quantum physics can only investigate so far and that eventually the Reality must be investigated via consciousness (meditation).

Nonetheless, I love what Quantum Physics is discovering and it is very consistent with Buddhism, Taoism (See the "Tao of Physics"), and the Yogi Rishis.

what it means, to me, is that we are all interconnected. Everything around us is us. However we describe us, the universe has more of. In fact, I don't one thing that it doesn't have more of.

For me, the questions becomes "bubbles" of universe. How big is that bubble.

Zoom into a cell. There is not one living thing in that cell. But we circle a volume and call that volume alive. How big can we make that volume to describe what we experience?

Look around the room, there is no real separation between you and everything in that room. "alive" and "not alive" are just words to exchange information between humans.

I sit on the moon and look back at earth. Looking past that becomes more inference based. But looking back at the earth is empirical. Tell me where the separations between life and non life is?

science is pointing to that we may very well be in a living system. Its that aliveness that is influencing us. It has been my experience, and its only me so take it at that, many scientist would understand and accept that. Its how far we are willing to take it that becomes a point of discussion.
