I agree, be still means not even feeling, well to me it does, and so we go around in circles again lol.

It is not as subjective as that. Words have defined meanings.

Although "words have defined meanings", as you duly noted, the words themselves can be inadequate to express certain things such as the very deep matters ("Be still") that we are discussing here.

As I've mentioned before, some of my most profound communications (with a Taoist master in Chengdu, China, and a sage at the Khumba Mela in Haridwar, India, for example) have been in complete and utter silence ... without words.

Having said that, words are indeed necessary for most people.

Ye, connection to God Source is always eternally personal, unconditional, consciousnessly relative, energy motional, and emotionally indicated. No outward condition can ever replace that. Not even the words of God Source.
But it can help to mention and remind one that feeling worse emotionally, indicates more personal unconditional consciousness resistance to this inseperable eternal undisconnectable connection, and feeling better emotionally indicates the moreness of allowing of that connection. Moreness of realisation of this connection.

And since we are eternal, that will always be the eternal purpose, to be in the eternal unconditional joy, of the eternal here and now.

Don't forget to say whom you're addressing. :)

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

I have always found using I AM in the context of spiritual identity to be challenging. So maybe you all are on to something with these translation questions. Invoking the Power of the Godhead directly is not something I do lightly. To assume that identity seems to have an element of madness or dissociation. Does not feel very balanced.

How about: Be Still and know God. That seems accurate without the drama of psychological overreach. I really like the "abandon your attacks" alternative interpretation as well. That gets to the core of forgiveness.
