He's dead?
He died in 1998? At 48? Thanks for the Article Unseeking.
Well, he had great teachings or words coming out of him, anyway.

I'll add my rather unenthusiastic opinion about India. I know some people rave about it and to many it is *the* place to be, but I think I would rather live anywhere but. To me it is way too immersed in itself. I like to spread my wings. In India the only way is inward....

It's not high on my list either. Mostly because of its pollution, contaminated food, open defecation, scammers, and yes, the crowdedness. It's not paradisical like the New Age believes it to be. I'm sure there are many nice people but the country does not appeal to me.

When it comes to eastern religion, I think the far east is more interesting.

My view of Frederick Lenz - Rama

I found Rama/Frederick Lenz at a big hotel event at the Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills. He provides some entertainment and humor to Buddha. He is the real Sri Yukteswar. The Guru to Paramahansa Yogananda. He sent him here to America to awaken America to the sacred teachings of India. He is an extension of Buddhas protectors/angels. His beings/protectors/angels made him. I Miss Hepburn also like his youtube teachings. Thanks for sharing that one. His Zazen music that I put on the music section is my favorite new age music. Samurai, Ecstasy, and Samahdi. That was fun to see you post about that youtube vid. Rama awoke me to my higher self. Who I am. He advises Buddha/God/Christ on what to do. He is his advisor. He frees Buddha/Christ of bad things out there. Rama was very funny. He made me laugh when I was a disciple of him. In the tantra youtube vid he says he is holy. He is. He was very misunderstood in America.

Hi V. ---since you are new here, lemme tell you, we discourage sentences said as fact. Even tho they could be VERY TRUE!
Example - He is the real Sri Y.
What that does is invite others to just want to dispute that and ask how on earth do you know that ...and on and on until the thread just gets closed.
BUT, if you say you believe, you think, you experienced, you saw in a vision that Rama was the incarnation of Sri Y...
then ok....you can believe anything you want.
I hope you see what I mean.
Thank you. I do enjoy your enthusiasm!

Vajradhara, i'm clarifying that when i said to you in another thread "Yes, Sri Ram is considered God in India." i was talking about him:

The "perfection embodied", quoting an aghori guru. To save dear Miss Hepburn the trouble of giving definition, "aghora" is an extreme occult path to connect with God practiced by few in India and abroad :)

Those interested in Aghoris can read the book, ’AGHORA, the left hand of God’ by Robert Svoboda.

As kralaro says, it is an extreme path and also a misunderstood one. I’d caution against engaging in it as also Shamanism or any other radical occult practice for the simple reason that the seeker who seeks is looking for a shortcut solution without actually going through decades of preparatory work by living like one of them.

While I agree many a comments on India , I would like to bring to notice similar things to exists in supposedly western societies also albeit in lesser degree as of today e.g. there are many homeless (around 92K in 2023 ) in NY itself and they beg or sing in metro for alms . I have personally witnessed this also besides the tremendous prosperity of few of its denizens .

While I dont want India to rank higher for things which I also accept it as facts of today , I just want to make one aware of dangers present everywhere in varying degree . India has definitely to do lot more to improve on lot of well being parameters . Current society and its govt are gradually awakening to that fact out of decades/centuries of slavery/slumber.

I also like the book mentioned by Unseeking ji. What i quoted about Lord Ram is from the 2nd book in the series i.e. Aghora II Kundalini. Since sir mentioned Svoboda ji, sharing something i found very interesting:
Dr Robert Svoboda intersecting satva rajas tamas (from Hindu philosophy) with vata **** kafa (from Ayurveda):
1:37:10 onwards
https://youtu.be/8LUTdzh9ZLM?si=6hIfIZniwwMX4W8y&t=5830
especially 1:40:24 onwards.
Edit: p i t a isn't a bad word afaik lol.
