How do you contact your guide?

I've always wanted to contact my guide but I don't know how to go about doing that. Could I have so help?

I say just do it. Start an imaginary conversation with Your guide, we all have one, and feel the experience.

A child does not read a book about learning to walk. This is just like that. You practice and practice until you are actually doing it.

I second the "just start a conversation" idea. I'll add on.. don't be discouraged in the beginning if it seems like you're "talking to yourself". It takes time and practice.. and a lot of trust.. to discern the difference. For me, I've gone through many stages of trusting and not trusting. I've finally determined that in my case, when it's my guide's voice (not just my own inner voice), it has a slightly different "feel" to it.. I also often feel my third eye start to tingle slightly (though not always).

Good luck in your search! Make sure to place your intentions clearly - that you wish to contact your guide.

At this point I am essentially always in contact with my guide, close to inseparable from it. I've been at this a long time now though. In the past I would usually do it through visualization / meditation, both when simply meditating or meditating before / during a ritual.

A great place to start is reading Sonia Choquettes's book:

This helped me when I first began communicating with my guides.
Set the intention-be open-have faith-and most importantly Trust!

I also have done It the same way as Cydonia, but I think there is different ways for different people. It is good to keep your options open.

I always like to feel their presents, so I ask them, guides, higher self, divine self, to come in so I can feel their energy. After some time it just happens strait away when you focus on them or it.
