2nd Coming of Christ. Has it happened already ?
Some Christians wait at hills at appointed times, looking to the sky, fully expecting an army of angels descending in bring light with their Lord in the middle..
Or will Christ choose a less dramatic and more "normal" method of being born again.. like the reincarnation of famous lamas / monks ?
Has the Lord in fact already arrived here on Earth ? By all accounts the Earth is indeed in very difficult times now, with disasters/diseases threatening the environment and life itself and the planet's survival being pushed to the brink. If Christ does not come now, it will be too late perhaps..

The Christ has always been here, the Christ is within you, when you realize this the Christ will for you, be there in all of its glory, there dark clouds of the mind that kept this from you has now departed and from the clouds the coming of the lord is seen, when we all finally realize this, then we can say the all will see the brightness of his coming, he will then dwell on the earth in every heart, then will heaven be established right here, right where you are NOW.

like this from a prophecy in 1 Thessalonians
13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.

How can Christ "come again" if Christianity rejects the idea of reincarnation?

That question should be posed to Christians around the world. Sounds like there is a paradox of logic somewhere in their beliefs right ?

If Christians believe in the Second Coming of Christ, and that same Christian also reject the idea of reincarnation,
then it is a very tough situation.. fire and water cannot mix, you want Christ to come again, but mentally you reject the idea.. Tough.. tough.. paradox
What is Jesus to do ? If He comes, He fulfils your belief in the Second Coming, yet at the same time He proves reincarnation by the fact the He "come again", what gives ? Something has to give somewhere

Lucky, you tell us fire and water cannot mix so, why do you persist in trying to equate two different things?
You are simply asserting what (you believe) Christians think and then move on to dismantle the badly researched fantasy. I'm still looking for the tough paradox??
What you should have done is show us how resurrection is the same thing as reincarnation, and why the dictionary does not share your view, then maybe... naa.
