What are the uses for this crystal?

The crystal geode I have is a scorodite I believe, because it changes color depending on the light hitting it, when in direct sunlight it is dark grey, when it's in the shade (under direct sunlight) it is a bright lavander, and when under artificial light it is dark lavander and slightly grayish.

I have tried too look up its uses but can't seem to find anything on it...

Also does anyone know if this crystal dissolves in water?

I found its name in a handbook of rocks and minerals :) I don't know if it has a more common name it's known by.

If this does not sound like a scorodite please tell me what it is! I think it's scorodite because the one I saw in the picture is quite simular to the color and shape as the one I have in my room. And the only one that changes color under different lighting conditions.

If you need a picture I can try to find it on my computer (I don't know if I still have it because my computer was wiped when it got a virus) and my camera is broken...

Ah ok, hey sky bird do you know of any other crystal that changes color?depending on the light source?

Oh ole, I just thought it may be scorodite since they look simular but I can be wrong, like I said I don't know what kind of crystal changes color depending on the light


Hmmm... I am going to try and get ahold of my moms friend, he loves crystals and rocks and knows alot about them. Much to Shia wife's dismay lol. She thinks it just takes up too much space and wants him to get rid of it

l have a star crystal it does not change colour when light hits it, but it sparkles as if it has tiny stars inside it.Scorodite is said to stimulate and balances the Solar Plexus.It is also said to help release unwated Negative emotions.
