Crystals for your chakra

When you have a chakra set, like a necklace or bracelet. Are there certain stones to use? Or is it like anything else and you use what it personally going to work for you? Or just as long as the colors match or both?

There are crystals that are used for your chakras.. you basically want to work with crystals that are of the color of the chakra you are working with.

red's for root such as red jasper
orange for sacral such as carnelian
yellows for solar plexus such as sunstone
pink/green for heart such rose quartz/aventurine
blue for throat such as sodalite
indigo for third eye lapis
violet for crown such as amethyst

I would go with the colors of stones that match your chakras that's how I do it, especially if you're making a chakra bracelet necklace or whatever. But do know that different stones work on different chakras......

I never use colours for chakras... if you are going to do that you may as well use colour therapy and save your money on stones.

Pick the stones for the chakras intuitively, ignoring the colours.

Chakra jewellery is nice for decoration.. but there is so many more crystals out there that can help you with your chakras why would you want to limit yourself and the work ou can co-create with say a pink stone such as petalite?
