Smile Color Blindness

I always just thought that Color blindness is the inability or decreased ability to see color, or perceive color differences, under normal lighting conditions.
But as I looked into this, I found that Sex-Linked Color blindness is the most usual cause of it. The studies show this condition will be expressed in males with a higher probability than in females because males only have one X chromosome.

However, who's to say that people with these condition cannot paint -
thus, enjoy colors?
Wouldn't you wanna see such a work?

I'm a little color blind. No where near enough to really make much of a difference in anything, but enough to fail the tests and argue over which colors are which ;). From this, I have noticed that colors do speak to me some. Its really hard to describe, sadly. I don't know if its a common side effect, havent met to many others that have either a creative side or an appreciation for them. It makes for a fun and interesting character quirk.

From this too, im not a fan of solid colors, or colors together in the same close grouping. Like light blue with blue. I enjoy most the conflict inherited by opposite colors, like reds and blues. It's always fun to see them fighting and yet complimenting eachother, without pushing them away like you get a lot with black and white combo. Hope that makes some sense.

I'm totally colour blind and have been an artist my whole life and I tend to call it colour dyslexia. I can see colour as well as the next person but I just can'r always determine what colour it is but by having to deal with this overall a lifetime of using colour and having my brother and oldest friends being colourmatching spray painters I hardly ever get caught out thesedays and people actually sometimes don't believe I colourblind.

But yes it's in males but passed on through females.

Here's a new research into the cortical basis for colour vision
on the news I found for the few days. Sheds more light into understanding how the
Cortical colouring in works: what does your brain do with black-and-white images?
