It's snowing!

Okay, I'm in the UK so I tend to get excited about proper snowy winters! Anyone else had blizzard like conditions today? We've had quite a covering.

Colorado, where I am, has snow and wind today, big gusts!
But where I am, close to the Mountains, just a 'dusting' is blowing around.
Now, North East USA, they got SNOW!
Not NYC, tho. Weird patterns of snowfall, imo.
They said NYC has not gotten more than an inch or 2 for close to 700 days.

Snow and wind isn't the best combination Miss Hepburn!

Here we still have some snow and ice on the ground. I love the wintry look when I go down the local streets. I'm a summer person but I do love how snow transforms everything.

Oh and I remember when I went to New York back in 1998....it was the coldest April I have ever experienced anywhere. Snow and ice on the ground. My face and lips are blue in the photos.

I was brought up in snow country. In 1997, they claim a community nearby where I lived received 77 inches in one 24 hour period. Another community in 1976 received 466.9 inches of snow in one season.

As for me now, I live in the desert where we don't mow grass nor shovel snow. Currently, I am planning to move to the tropics where it is a lot warmer.

Gosh Justbe that sounds heavenly - whereabouts are you? Australia?

Big John - that is A LOT of snow! Apparently the UK had a really vicious winter in 1962/63 as my mum used to talk about it. I wish I'd been there to see it, although it would have been horrendous for people.
