Question Lunar, Tree, Calendars & Festivities?

I read that there is such a thing as the "Celtic Tree Calendar". Regardless of its origin, i would love to celebrate the days on the calendar...anyone have a book or article that has the different days, months, etc. and what to do? Or just more information on this Calendar for someone who wants to use it?

Secondly...I love the moon almost as much as i love trees :) Anyone got a good lunar calendar to recommend?

Finally, it would be very meaningful to me to be able to celebrate festivals and such. I'm not into goddesses or gods, but i am into nature and celebrating the seasons! I love decorating my house for fall, and would like to do that for the other seasons as well, with a bit of a spiritual aspect perhaps.

Care to share a little bit of your knowledge?

Good afternoon Odstar.

I think the 'Celtic Tree Calendar' originated with Robert Graves. He loved anything 'Celtic' and invented the 'Celtic Tree Calendar' in the 1930's. The Celts who he lived amongst were bewildered when they read his views, which were based very loosely on Gaelic mythology and had nothing to do with their calendar. The Wiccan's adopted his calendar, and celebrate Samhain (an Irish festival), for example. In Britain, the equivalent Celtic festival is called Calon Gaeaf, and is celebrated with traditional dancing and music.
