Yes it’s all an interconnected dream, within dreams, within dreams......

So in your ‘committed’ ‘or not’ view..isn’t that navigating to source another dream from, either of those sources?

In this way we are dreamers dreaming continuously, waking up to our intended and ‘not intended’ reality..

As a manifestation of interconnectedness, the ‘unintended’ would be the ‘unaware’ and unconscious creating itself and manifesting ‘itself’ and more than itself..

Yeah,
Clear intention and taking a full responsibility of it sets the 'dreaming-awake' up.

Or in my experience ‘direct experience’ woke me up and the waking dream is fully responsible of itself ‘aware’ ..

Some people can have clear intentions on the surface but the underlying ‘unknown’ In themselves intends in other ways.

So in this view intention is no good without full responsibility of what is and what arises..

Yes, putting ‘one's head on the chopping block’ in total surrender to whatever comes keeps one alert

Or it allows you to walk through it all moment to moment. Of course when aware and clear and open to ‘know’ more directly what is there and how to be in it as the one ‘aware’ your less likely to get your head chopped off.. hehe..

Yes, in not knowing how, where and when the rabbit is going to pop out nor how to deal with it.

Which reminds me of this old inspirational quote from Castaneda (a bit shortened):
Quote:
You see, we only have two alternatives; we either take everything for sure and real, or we don't.

If we follow the first, we end up bored to death with ourselves and with the world.

If we follow the second, a very exciting and mysterious state in which nobody knows where the rabbit will pop out, not even ourselves.

When nothing is for sure we remain alert, perennially on our toes.
It is more exciting not to know which bush the rabbit is hiding behind than to behave as though we know everything.

Yes.

I think in this view Castaneda shows, we can use the mind and the intellect to know and guide us, but if we immerse fully into life without knowing everything, we see things we ourselves were controlling with our ‘limited lens’ and processing capacity, at any given moment.

Of course, in this way, we can open up to be in the zone of ‘the child like qualities’ we once were. Full sensory immersion.

How does one know if they are fully immersed!

How do you navigate the path that leads to liberation?

Loosening mind-body identification
Recognising that our attention is held in packets of time
Silence and stillness our orientation
Unhurriedly shifting fulcrum nearer to conscience chime

What happens in meditation is this: we exit hypnotic trance
Tumbler within falls noiselessly; revealing self-luminescence
